Opportunities for Strengthening Relationships in Applied Sciences and Technology Were Evaluated

Today, on February 20, 2024, in Tashkent, the President of the Turkic Academy Shahin Mustafayev met with the First Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan Komiljon Karimov.

The parties discussed the possibilities of cooperation in the field of education and science in the Turkic world. They talked about common events planned for this year.

In particular, it is planned to commemorate the anniversaries of a number of outstanding people.

In addition, the President of the Turkic Academy mentioned the activities carried out in cooperation with the scientific institutions of Uzbekistan last year, and focused on the projects currently being carried out with the participation of Uzbek scholars.

In his speech Mustafaev noted that the initiative to expand the scope of activities of the Academy was supported by the decision of the X Summit of the Heads of State of Turkic countries in Astana, and large-scale gatherings on applied and natural sciences were also started to be organized.

The parties agreed to strengthen relations in the main areas of cooperation, to actively participate in the creation of working groups in priority areas.

Askhat Kesikbayev, Vice President of the Turkic Academy, also took part in the meeting.
