In his address, President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev emphasized the importance of establishing a common terminological base for Turkic languages, highlighting in this context the significant contribution of the Turkic Academy to the development of the scientific and linguistic space of the Turkic world.
“In the era of technological progress and humanitarian integration, it is necessary to establish a common terminological base for Turkic languages.
Recently, the Turkic Academy published an eight-volume terminological dictionary in English, Russian, and Turkic languages. This work will contribute to the standardization of terminology and the strengthening of a common scientific space.
In this regard, I propose the establishment of an Intergovernmental Terminology Commission, comprising representatives of relevant institutions and scientific experts from the member states of the Council,” the Head of State said.
