On October 7, in Gabala, Azerbaijan, within the framework of the 12th Summit of the Organization of Turkic States, Turkmenistan officially obtained observer state status at the Turkic Academy.
The Turkic Academy was established on May 25, 2010. Its full members include Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Türkiye, while Hungary, Uzbekistan, and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus hold observer status. The accession of another brotherly country as an observer contributes to the further strengthening of the Academy’s scientific authority and international influence.
