Today, the Turkic Academy welcomed Deputy Chairman of Türkiye’s ruling Justice and Development Party (AK Parti), responsible for relations with the Turkic world Kürşad Zorlu.
Kürşad Zorlu was welcomed by the Vice President of the Turkic Academy Askhat Kessikbayev, who gave him a comprehensive tour of the institution and provided an in-depth overview of its ongoing academic projects and strategic priorities.
During the visit, both sides engaged in a productive exchange of views on expanding scientific and cultural cooperation within the framework of the Turkic world. Discussions touched on key initiatives led by the Academy, efforts to strengthen humanitarian ties and the promotion of shared historical and cultural heritage.
Zorlu emphasized the significance of the Turkic Academy’s role as a vital international platform for advancing scholarly integration across the Turkic world.
The visit concluded with a mutual expression of interest in further strengthening collaboration, including the organization of joint events and maintaining continuous dialogue on issues central to Turkic integration.
