On February 28, 2024 the Turkic Academy, in partnership with the Secretariat of the Organization of Turkic States, hosted an online session for Turkic Network of Official Economic Policy Research Centers (ERCNET) members.
The meeting was attended by the President of the Turkic Academy Shahin Mustafayev, the vice-presidents of the Turkic Academy Erhan Türbedar and Askhat Kessikbayev, as well as officials and experts from economic policy research centers in Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Türkiye, Uzbekistan and Hungary.
Shahin Mustafayev, President of the Turkic Academy, highlighted the favorable reception of the “Report on Turkic Economies 2023: Digital Trade and Investment” expressing gratitude to all ERCNET participants for their invaluable contributions.
“These topics are pivotal for fostering integration among Turkic states,” he said. “I am confident our discussion today will bring tangible benefits to economies of brotherly countries”
During the meeting, participants reviewed the performance indicators of the ERCNET platform established last year at the Turkic Academy's initiative. Additionally, they deliberated on proposals for crafting a report on the Economy of Turkic Countries for 2024.
