On December 13, 2022, as part of an official visit to Hungary, President of the Turkic Academy Shahin Mustafayev visited the Representation Office of the Organization of Turkic States in Hungary and met with the executive director of the organization Janos Hovary.
At the meeting, the parties discussed the ways of developing bilateral cooperation. In addition, the Head of the Academy, as part of the meeting, wrote down a wish in the Memorial notebook. Sh. Mustafayev expressed confidence in the further development of cooperation between Hungary and the Turkic countries in the field of science and education Since 2018 Hungary possesses the status of observant member of the Turkic Academy.
