On November 5, 2022, the Acting President of the International Turkic Academy Fuzuli Majidli met with the Minister of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Turkiye Mehmet Nuri Ersoy within the framework of the 39th meeting of the Permanent Council of the TURKSOY Organization held in Bursa.
At the meeting the parties exchanged views on expanding cooperation between the fraternal countries and discussed common projects, that will deepen scientific integration. Also during the meeting they discussed holding joint events dedicated to the celebration of the anniversaries of outstanding leaders of the Turkic world, which will be celebrated in 2023. In turn, the Minister M.Ersoy expressed support for the work and initiatives of the Turkic Academy. At the end of the meeting F.Majidli expressed his gratitude to the Minister of Culture and Tourism of Turkiye and presented him with valuable books, published by the Academy.
