Today in Ankara, President of the Turkic Academy Shahin Mustafayev met with President of the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Türkiye (TÜBİTAK), Professor Orhan Aydın.
Prof. Dr. Mustafayev congratulated Prof. Dr. Aydın on his appointment to the new position. During the conversation, both parties emphasized the importance of continuing the development of the previously established cooperation and advancing the projects already initiated in key areas such as science, technology and sustainable development.
The discussions also included plans for 2025, focusing on the implementation of joint projects and the organization of upcoming events. At the end of the meeting, the heads of the two organizations exchanged valuable publications as a sign of mutual respect and a commitment to further collaboration.
It is worth noting that in 2023, at the Summit of the Heads of State of the Turkic Council in Astana, the decision was made to expand the scope of activities of the Turkic Academy. In addition to its focus on the humanities, the Academy has begun coordinating scientific integration among Turkic countries in the fields of natural sciences and technology.
