On November 29, 2022, in Baku, the President of the International Turkic Academy Shahin Mustafayev met with Naila Velihanli, the Director of the National Museum of the History of Azerbaijan of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the prospects for scientific cooperation between the Turkic Academy and the National Museum, as well as the possibility of implementing joint projects and organizing scientific events in the field of research on the history and culture of the Turkic countries. It should be noted that the National Museum of the History of Azerbaijan is a research, cultural and educational institution that collects, studies, demonstrates and popularizes material and cultural monuments of all periods of the history of Azerbaijan. The museum was founded on June 15, 1920.
