As part of his visit to Uzbekistan, President of the Turkic Academy, Prof. Dr. Shahin Mustafayev met with Zebiniso Shodieva, Director of the A.S. Pushkin Samarkand Regional Information and Library Center.
During the meeting, the sides discussed prospects for cooperation in the dissemination of academic and educational publications and emphasized the importance of strengthening cultural and scholarly ties among Turkic countries.
As a gesture of advancing humanitarian collaboration, Shahin Mustafayev presented the library with several publications of the Turkic Academy in the Uzbek language, including a collection of works by the prominent Azerbaijani thinker Abbasqulu Ağa Bakikhanov and the book “Ulugh Beg and His Era” by Vasily Bartold, dedicated to the renowned astronomer and Timurid-era ruler Ulugh Beg.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides expressed their willingness to continue cooperation in promoting scholarly works that contribute to enhancing intellectual exchange across the Turkic world.
