Today, in Aktau, a meeting was held between President of the Turkic Academy Shahin Mustafayev and Minister of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan Aida Balayeva.
Prof. Dr. Shahin Mustafayev congratulated the city of Aktau on being designated the cultural capital of the Turkic world for 2025, highlighting the symbolic significance of this event. He also emphasized the special role of the Caspian Sea as a shared historical and cultural space for the Turkic peoples and expressed gratitude to the Ministry for its comprehensive support in scientific projects and the activities of the Turkic Academy.
Minister Aida Balayeva expressed her appreciation for Shahin Mustafayev’s visit and underscored the importance of initiatives aimed at strengthening cultural and academic ties between Turkic countries.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides emphasized the significance of cultural diplomacy as a tool for mutual understanding and stressed the importance of further efforts to promote the shared historical and cultural values of the Turkic world.
