On November 21, 2024, President of the Turkic Academy Shahin Mustafayev received representatives of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in the Republic of Kazakhstan. The Chinese delegation included Head of the Information and Public Diplomacy Department Li Guangzuo and Third Secretary of the Embassy Tan Lu.
During the meeting, President Shahin Mustafayev briefed the guests on the main activities of the Academy, highlighting its ongoing scientific projects focused on the study of the history, culture and languages of Turkic peoples.
The representatives of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China emphasized that Chinese scholars are interested in establishing connections with the Turkic Academy as well as with the academic circles of the member states of the organization.
