Today in Baku, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, His Excellency Jeyhun Bayramov received President of the Turkic Academy, Prof. Dr. Shahin Mustafayev.
The discussion focused on academic cooperation, the development of scientific ties among Turkic countries and new prospects for collaboration with Azerbaijani scholars.
During the meeting, Shahin Mustafayev shared that this year marks the 15th anniversary of the Turkic Academy’s establishment. He provided a detailed overview of the Academy’s activities, key projects and plans for 2025, including the preparation of major scientific works and the organization of large-scale international conferences.
Special attention was given to cooperation with the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan and Azerbaijani researchers. The head of the Turkic Academy emphasized that their contributions to joint research play a crucial role in studying the shared scientific, historical and cultural heritage of the Turkic world.
For his part, Jeyhun Bayramov highly praised the Turkic Academy's activities, highlighting its role in strengthening scientific diplomacy among Turkic nations and expressing support for expanding partnerships through active collaboration.
