On February 3, 2023, the President of the Turkic Academy Shahin Mustafayev met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Hungary to the Republic of Kazakhstan Otto Ivan Rona.
At the meeting, the parties discussed the plan for a number of works in the fields of culture, education and science within the framework of cooperation. They also discussed joint projects aimed at further building their partnership. In particular, the parties exchanged their views on the activities of the Academy dedicated to prominent Hungarian figures such as Gyorgy Almasi, Gyula Nemeth and Istvan Kongur Mandoki. Sh. Mustafayev called on Hungarian scientists to take an active part in joint projects initiated by the Academy. In turn, O.I. Rona wished the Head of the Academy success in his responsible position, and also expressed support for the implementation of the discussed plans and research activities.
