According the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev the scientists of the International Turkic Academy were awarded state awards for their significant contribution to the development of science and culture, strengthening scientific ties and cooperation between fraternal countries.
In particular, Napil Bazylkhan was awarded the order «Parasat», Nurbolat Bogenbayev was awarded the order «Kurmet». On August, 2022 the scientists conducted archaeological excavations and researches in the Nomgon Valley (Mongolia), in the memorial complex in honor of Kutlug Khagan. The State awards were presented to N.Bazylkhan and N.Bogenbayev by the Minister of Information and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan Darkhan Kydyrali. As a result of a scientific expedition, organized by the International Turkic Academy jointly with the Institute of Archeology of the Mongolian Academy of Sciences, the upper part of the epitaph and the memorial complex related to the ancient Turkic era were discovered. Scientists of the Turkic Academy had read the inscriptions on the monument and determined that it is dedicated to Kutlug Khagan, the founder of the Second Turkic Khaganate. At the last OTS Summit in Samarkand, the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev highly appreciated the results of above mentioned excavations and noted that the opening of the complex in honor of Kutlug Khagan, who had revived the Turkic Khaganate, was an important event for the Turkic world.
