Annotation: The project "Monuments of Ancient Turkic Writing in Central Asia" is a collaborative initiative between the Turkic Academy and the International Institute for Central Asian Studies, engaging renowned runologists, Turkologists, archaeologists and historians. This endeavor focuses on the comprehensive study of ancient Turkic inscriptions discovered across regions inhabited by early medieval Turks. The project entails the identification and documentation of these inscriptions, providing detailed descriptions accompanied by color photographs and illustrations. The resulting scholarly work serves as a reference source, offering insights into the linguistic, literary, historical and ethno-cultural aspects of the ancient Turkic civilization.
