President of the Turkic Academy, Prof. Dr. Shahin Mustafayev, met with the Secretary General of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA), Kairat Sarybay, in Astana.
During the meeting, Shahin Mustafayev spoke in detail about the Academy’s initiatives aimed at the scholarly study of the shared values of the Turkic world. In turn, Kairat Sarybay provided information on the activities and current work of CICA.
The meeting, focused on strengthening partnership between the two international organizations, also addressed opportunities for cooperation in the fields of science and education. In addition, Shahin Mustafayev congratulated Kairat Sarybay on the opening of CICA’s new headquarters and presented him with recently published editions of the Turkic Academy.
