President of the Turkic Academy Participated in the 12th Summit of the Organization of Turkic States in Gabala

On October 7, the 12th Summit of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) was held in the city of Gabala, Azerbaijan. The event brought together President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov, President of the Republic of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, and President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, as well as leaders of observer states - Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orbán and President of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus Ersin Tatar.

The Summit was also attended by the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the member and observer states, along with heads of Turkic cooperation organizations, including Secretary General of the OTS Kubanychbek Omuraliyev, Chairman of the OTS Council of Elders Binali Yıldırım, President of the Turkic Academy Shahin Mustafayev, Secretary General of TURKPA Mehmet Süreyya Er, Secretary General of TURKSOY Sultan Raev, President of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation Aktoty Raimkulova, President of the Turkic Investment Fund Bagdad Amreyev, and President of the Union of Turkic Chambers of Commerce and Industry Mammad Musayev.

The Summit addressed key issues of cooperation within the Turkic world and resulted in the signing of several important documents aimed at further strengthening collaboration among the OTS member states. In addition, by the decision of the summit, the Republic of Turkmenistan was granted observer state status at the Turkic Academy.
