Today in Baku, President of the Turkic Academy Shahin Mustafayev took part in the international scientific conference “Yusif Mammadaliyev: Science. Heritage. Innovations,” dedicated to the 120th anniversary of the Azerbaijani chemist and academician Yusif Mammadaliyev.
The conference, organized jointly by the Ministry of Science and Education of Azerbaijan and the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan (ANAS), also brought together Minister of Science and Education Emin Amrullaev, President of ANAS Academician Isa Habibbayli, Deputy Speaker of the Milli Majlis Academician Rafael Huseynov, Former Advisor to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Science and Innovation Kunsulu Zakariya, and representatives of scientific institutions.
At the opening, participants were presented with a thematic exhibition highlighting the key stages of Mammadaliyev’s life and scientific work.
In his address, President of the Turkic Academy, Prof. Dr. Shahin Mustafayev, emphasized the importance of Mammadaliyev’s scientific legacy for Azerbaijan and the broader Turkic world, noting the role of scholars in the intellectual and cultural development of nations and the importance of preserving their achievements for future generations.
The conference continued with a series of panel discussions, focusing on Mammadaliyev’s key scientific contributions and their relevance to contemporary research agendas.
